On September 3rd, Aileron celebrated the one-year anniversary of acquiring the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, a 25-room boutique hotel on Amelia Island, Florida.

Designed and built by David and Susan Caples in the early 1990’s as an oceanfront boutique lodge, Elizabeth Pointe has always been about creating a peaceful retreat for its guests. Over the past year, the main lodge underwent extensive renovations, including updates to most guest rooms and bathrooms, highlighted by refreshed decor, new furnishings, and modern amenities. The property now features artwork by C. Brooke Ring, curated to reflect the charm and beauty of Amelia Island.

Today, Elizabeth Pointe welcomes guests with oceanfront views, thoughtfully appointed rooms, and genuine hospitality. Accommodations include the luxury rooms in the Main Lodge, as well as the more private suites in Miller Cottage and the Ocean House, giving guests the choice of a cozy retreat or a secluded stay. Whether celebrating anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, or simply enjoying a much-needed getaway, Elizabeth Pointe remains a special place that keeps guests returning year after year.

Elizabeth Pointe has achieved its highest occupancy in five years, and guest feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the hotel’s refreshed atmosphere and friendly staff.

With this first year of progress behind us, Elizabeth Pointe is well-positioned for continued growth and success. Aileron Management looks forward to building on this momentum and welcoming even more guests to experience this unique coastal getaway.
